The Vineyards of England Cellar (VEC) is a collaboration between some of the best growers and winemakers in England. It aims to deliver English wine at an affordable price point, making it more accessible across both the on-trade (hospitality and restaurants) and off-trade (retail, including supermarkets).The co-operative brings together family-run vineyards, each producing fruit of the highest quality. By working together, they can bring costs down and de-risk English wine for consumers, addressing a category that - particularly for still wine - remains prohibitively expensive across both channels. The VEC isn't looking to compete with or cannibalise other English wine brands; rather, it aims to be the first rung on the ladder, giving buyers and consumers an accessible entry point that encourages further exploration into the wider category.
